This episode featured Anmol Gupta, an international student studying in Ukraine and a soon-to-be surgeon. He left his home country, India, to Ukraine in 2014 in pursuit of his dream to study medicine and become a surgeon.
Anmol has had to leave Ukraine and is currently in Hungary, due to the ongoing conflict. He has however not allowed himself be deterred by prevailing circumstances. He is currently a volunteer for humanitarian efforts in Hungary, aimed at helping millions of fleeing refugees settle in and find a new home.
Having very recently received recognition by CNN via an interview for his tireless humanitarian efforts, his story is an inspiration to many.
