Oluwasayo (Sayo) is from Lagos, Nigeria. She graduated at the top of her class at Missouri State University, where she double majored in Political Science and Psychology.  During her time at Missouri State, she was heavily involved with minority students and spent a lot of time advocating for minority rights. This passion for advocacy led her to law school. She currently attends William & Mary Law School in Virginia. She continues to work to help minority/international students thrive and feel included in society.

This summer, she will be working as a Summer Associate at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP in Ohio.
In this episode, she will be talking about “Excelling in a New Climate.” As an international student, Sayo has managed to successfully navigate the educational system here in the U.S. and would love to share some tips and advice to help other minority/international students do the same.
